1) Emphasis has been placed on low CG so we have sunken the engine and clutch bell into the chassis as far as possible and produced very low adjustable engine mounts. We have sunken the differential cases into the chassis as low as possible. The steering servo is laid down and the fuel tank is moulded over the enter drive shaft. The tank features an inbuilt filter and spill tray. The fuel nipple is multi directional and can be moved 360 degrees.
2) Low revolving mass was achieved by precision alloy gears in the diffs and a lightened spur gear. The drive line is all universal drives for the front, rear and center. The 7075 steering knuckles are our new captured king pin system. The king pin come in from the center and a nylon nut is used to secure it.
3) The weight of the buggy has been reduced to (3150gms dry without radio and engine) by milling the 7075 chassis, 7075 towers front and rear, carbon fiber top deck with personal transponder mount and carbon front plate. The center diff has a carbon top plate and the diff posts are aluminium. The battery compartment is close to the center next to the engine for balance with the receiver located in its own compartment on the outside. The arms have been gauged down.
4) Bracing of the X1CR is achieved by a 7075 front and rear chassis brace and a new Z brace in front of the engine to alleviate any chassis twist. The side guards incorporate a pipe protector.
5) Handling and set-up is easy as the buggy has no bump steer in its recommended hole positions. The wheels have good droop for bumpy tracks with ample chassis clearance. When the chassis is grounded there is still 3-5mm up-travel for a more stable ride over bumpy surfaces. For stability the rear anti-roll bar is of a heavier gauge than the front.
6) We have included an in-line carting pipe like the Novarossis 063, dual filter aircleaner and a quality in-line fuel filter with mounting bracket.
